The writing Pod (Wendi, Chris and I) sat at our favorite table, imbibing caffeine in one form or other, contemplating the woes of trying to get published.

"My professor at college always held that you couldn't go wrong selling sex," said Wendi (or words to that effect).

"We should write something together," said Chris.

"I have a plot," said I.

I came up with a love triangle where all the desire flowed in one direction, then reversed and flowed the other way (called Ménage à Trois). Wendi and Chris jumped on it ... We each took the part of one of the three main characters and wrote in the first-person. Of course the initial plan took unexpected swerves, the title changed to Three's a Crime, and the characters had minds of their own, but we did it.
